What is the route of the Rock 'N' Roll Running Series Madrid
The Zurich Rock 'n' Roll Running Series Madrid Marathon starts on Paseo de la Castellana, between Plaza del Doctor Marañón and Plaza de San Juan de la Cruz, right in the city's financial district.
The RFEA and World Athletics-certified course is entirely urban and passes some of Madrid's most iconic sights, including the Royal Palace, Retiro Park and Puerta del Sol, on a lively circuit lined with live music stages, a trademark of Rock 'n' Roll races.
Aid stations are set up along the way at kilometres 5, 11, 15, 18, 23, 26.5, 29, 32, 35.8, 38 and 40, plus one at the finish, helping runners get through such a long distance across the heart of the capital.

The marathon costs €150, the half marathon €100 and the 10K €50.
Where do I pick up my bib?
Bibs cannot be collected on race day: pick-up is at the Runner's Expo at IFEMA, showing your registration confirmation or QR code plus ID.
What's included in the entry?
An Adidas technical shirt, a timing-chip bib, an energy fuel bag (2 gels and 1 bar for the marathon, 1 gel for the half) and an official finisher diploma.
Is there a cloakroom?
Yes, free of charge, with a numbered sticker matching your bib; it closes at 2pm for the half marathon and 5pm for the marathon.
Can I get a refund if I'm injured?
Yes, a 75% refund is available for injury with a medical certificate submitted before March 15th. No refunds for distance changes.
Are there pacers?
Yes, for the marathon from sub-3h to 5:00h, and for the half marathon from 1:30h to 2:00h.
