What is the route of the Maratón BP Castellón 2027

The BP Castellón Marathon features one of the fastest and flattest marathon courses in Spain, making it ideal for runners chasing a personal best or tackling the distance for the first time. The race starts on Avenida Vila-real, in front of El Corte Inglés, with a wide and comfortable opening section perfect for settling into pace early on.

The course runs through some of Castellón’s main avenues on a fast urban layout with long straight sections that help maintain a steady rhythm. One of the highlights of the race comes near the Grao de Castellón, where runners enjoy sea views and an almost completely flat profile.

Where and when to collect race bibs Maratón BP Castellón 2027

The race bib, timing chip, and runner's bag can be collected at the RUNNER'S FAIR located in the El Grau room (next to the Puerto Azahar Casino in El Grau) on Friday, February 20th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 21st, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Race bibs will not be distributed under any circumstances on the day of the race.

Presentation of the registration confirmation or QR code (paper or digital), ID, or a signed authorization is mandatory to collect the race bib and timing chip.

Once the race bib and timing chip have been collected, all athletes must have the chip checked at the CHIP CONTROL located at the collection point to verify the correct data and to be able to make any necessary corrections.
